Excuse the drama. I feel like I showed up for a beauty contest after rolling out of bed with my haircurlers on. Anyway, Amazon is now selling “The Wrong Family.” The link above now takes you to the amazon site.
I have been in front of my laptop pretty much all the time for several days. Anyway, all is good. The smashwords edition is good, format-wise. It is also a free download through Friday, 3/1/13. Check out the post on the right.
I suppose this is where the real work begins – marketing. Also, when I find time, I’ll be starting a blog somewhere, but there will be a link on this site to it. Originally, I was going to do a blog here but instead will focus on the book here, and do personal thoughts, experiences, journaling, photos, and things not directly related to The Wrong Family on the blogsite.
I have learned a lot of new skills in the last ten years related to producing ebooks and print on demand paperbacks. So now I get to learn marketing in the social network era.
Lucky me.

Umm. It is probably okay to download. I am still working out the formatting problem, but I apparently had an older version on my computer. What you download should be the latest, though. No real changes are being made, although in the next day or two I will upload a version whose formatting hopefully is bug-free. Once you own the ebook, any new versions are free. I’ll let you know when I upload.
You are probably totally confused. Here are the main points: 1) please download now, and 2) check back here Monday or Tuesday for the bug-free formatted version.

An old edition is being downloaded. Please stop reading the book, if you have begun, and do not attempt to download fit or a few days. I will post here when the problem is corrected. So, delete the copy you have – it ain’t the current edition. There are significant changes and improvements. I uploaded the right stuff, so I need to troubleshoot this, possibly on Monday when Smashwords is open.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m not happy either.
Sample or purchase my ebook at Smashwords.
It has been ten years, but I pretty much have the words right. The ebook’s format – how it looks – still has a few bugs to work out. It is quite readable as is on kindles, computers, smart phones, or other ebook readers.
I am releasing the ebook through Smashwords, which easily allows updates. The kinks are mostly unwanted line breaks. I still have to delete the words “fix the below” just above the Table of Contents. As if I needed a reminder.
There are dozens of hyperlinks – words underlined and in blue. Most work. Those that don’t will soon – just make sure to get the latest version from Smashwords.
